Ray's Beauty School Accredited

December 1, 2000

The Private Post Secondary Education Commission of British Columbia has granted Ray's Beauty School Ltd. Accreditation status in recognition of its commitment to educational and training excellence.

Accreditation is a voluntary process in which educational institutes gauge the quality of their program, facilities and staff. It is a rigorous self-examination of every facet of the institution.

This differs from the Registration status which is mandatory for all private, post-secondary educational institutes that offer certain programs to individuals over the age of 17. Registration, however, does not confirm an institute's quality of service or program. Registration only indicates that an institution meets the minimum requirements to legally operate in the province of B.C.

Receiving Accreditation status recognizes a school's commitment to excellence. The staff at Ray's Beauty School Ltd. has been working hard during the past year preparing the necessary paperwork and changes and are pleased to receive recognition of their efforts by achieving Accreditation status.

The Accrediation process for private, post-secondary institutions in B.C. is overseen by the PPSEC. For more information regarding Accreditation and how it affects you, please visit the Private Post Secondary Education Commission at www.ppsec.bc.ca.
